No Bones About It: A good dog doesn’t have to chew a hole in your wallet.
Two of the most persistent myths about dog training are that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks and that professional dog training is too expensive. Let Phyllis Mazzarisi, owner of No Bones About It, bust those myths
Certified by the State of Georgia as both a Basic Dog Educator-Trainer and Dog Educator Trainer, Phyllis Mazzarisi studied at Jo-Thor’s Dog Trainers’ Academy in Marietta. The program included over 480 hours of both academic and hands on vocational training. Ms. Mazzarisi is also certified by PetSmart as a trainer in their newly revised humane training program. Also, as a member of the APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers), she strongly believes in continuous education and professional development for trainers. Of course, she is also a lifelong and experienced multiple pet owner.
The intensive and continued training and experience received by Ms. Mazzarisi has given her a unique perspective on the needs of both pets and their human families. “Our pets don’t lose the ability to alter their behavior as they age. But their human families are central to success” states Ms. Mazzarisi. “Consistency is the key. Our dogs are part of our families, and ideally, everyone in the family needs to become involved in the plan for good behavior. That’s one of the methods I utilize.”
As for the cost? There are a number of plans available, from private sessions in the home to community sponsored, low cost group sessions. “I offer everything from low cost, basic training to intensive one-on-one interaction at your home. No one should be priced out of enjoying the benefits of professional dog training.” Phyllis Mazzarisi is available for interview by print and broadcast media. "Pets are not DISPOSABLE!" if you have a problem with your dog whether it is potty or behavior, find a trainer that can help not a shelter. Shelters are the place to find a great pet that has been placed there for many different reasons, but pets do have feelings so dont take the easy way out, give them a chance and give me a call.
